Thursday 27th September 2012,
It has been a while since I last posted, and I'm sad to say that it feels as though Summer is a distant memory and Autumn is well and truly here! Now is the time of year when we all start to slow down and become susceptible to colds and flus. If your prone to suffering from blocked sinuses and ear aches why not try hopi ear candling combined with a holistic facial massage, to help clear and drain your sinuses naturally and relieve pressure build up in your face and head which can cause pain.

I always believe in trying the natural alternatives before running to the pharmacy and buying chemical/drug decongestants, drops and inhalers! That way, even if you don't feel it is the treatment for you, you haven't put anything toxic into your body and it can't cause you any harm. Improving your diet could also help prevent colds and flus this year. I will be posting different tips and advice on facebook this winter!

Monday 30th July 2012,
The Olympics is underway and I think it will probably inspire us all to get up and do something more active or take up a new hobby! I have taken up Yoga which I love, and am getting back into my gym routine again. Don't be afraid to try something new there are plenty of beginner friendly and welcoming classes out their for all ages and abilities. Reflexology and Reiki can help encourage self esteem and personal growth contributing towards a balanced and healthy lifestyle.

Tuesday 17th July 2012,
It was a busy weekend at Golf East, shame about the weather on Saturday but Sunday certainly made up for it! I was able to give lots of free reflexology taster sessions which were well received judging by the relaxed and grateful responses I received. I was pleased to able to treat and convert those who had unenjoyable reflexology experiences in the past, and was shocked at just how many people had said that their treatments were "painful".

Reflexology should not be painful, but unfortunately there are some poorly trained therapists in the industry. Always make sure you feel comfortable with your therapist before they begin treating you and check that they are registered with the AoR as well. Your therapist should take a full medical history and explain the therapy and treatment to you in full so that you know what to expect, they should also ensure that their touch is appropriate and comfortable for you. If you have any doubts about them then look elsewhere!

Wednesday 27th June 2012,
I can't believe we have nearly reached the end of June already! On Saturday 14th & Sunday 15th July I will be at Trinity Park in Ipswich supporting Golf East. I will be offering taster sessions, as well as information and advice on Reflexology and the other treatments that I offer. Everyone who books a taster session with me will be entered into a draw for the chance to win a £25.00 gift voucher for The Treatment Shed! See you there

Friday 8th June 2012,
Well it is supposed to be Summer but June has got off to a pretty wet start! Hopefully the rain won't be here to stay but the weather can affect us more than we think. Those of you with skin conditions such as eczema or psoriasis and feel the warm sunny weather benefits your skin may be getting down at the thought of a washed out summer. Don't let it stress you out, alternative therapies can work wonders for stress relief and therapies like Reflexology have been seen to help improve sleep! which could be useful if your irritated skin is keeping you up at night.

My June Summer Special for Reflexology is still available to take advantage of so why not give it a try or recommend a friend! Gift vouchers are available too.

Wednesday 30th May 2012,
It has been a very interesting day! Reflexology never ceases to amaze me, and the different experiences it opens up to people amaze me even more! Interested? try it out for yourself with my June Summer Special offer......

Good news, the AoR are in the process of linking up with The National Childbirth Trust (NCT) to help raise awareness of benefits of reflexology during pregnancy and post natal care. Pregnant ladies will soon be able to search for a qualified and professional reflexologist near them, who is a member of the AoR, on the NCT's website. I will be offering maternity reflexology packages in the near future so watch this space!!

Monday 28th May 2012,
What a fantastic weekend we have had, it amazes me how much better we all feel from a little bit of sunshine! We all moan about the weather but at least we appreciate it when the sun finally arrives.

In order to help you kick off to chilled and relaxed summer this year (whether you have kids or not!) I have a reflexology special offer on for the month of June; initial consultation with treatment PLUS a follow up treatment for only £35.00.

Much like thinking that going to the gym once will mean you lose weight, reflexology is more likely to benefit you with a follow up or regular treatments. To book your appointment or purchase gift certificates for this offer please contact me.

Thursday 24th May 2012,
I finally have a website up and running for The Shed! I hope you enjoy it and please bare with me as I get to grips with making it as user friendly and informative as I can. I will be adding more to it and offering more on here in the future. Thank you to Healthhosts for helping me with it so far!

Sunday 20th May 2012,
Myself and 3 other ladies from the AoR joined forces to volunteer at Warwick Castle for the Prices Trust Palace to Palace bike ride where we were on hand to offer the 690 cyclists reflexology as they crossed the finish line. Although the weather was horrible it was a brilliant day and great to see so many people taking part and volunteering their services. We all hope to be there again next year, and I hope to be volunteering my time again for their October event!
